Anode groundings AG-PST

Low soluble anode groundings Low soluble anode groundings Anode groundings AG-PST are electrodes or a chain of electrodes to be used as grounding elements in cathodic protection units to protect metal structures operated in moderately to highly aggressive soils and underwater.

The types

Low soluble coatings applied to the surface of anode grounding electrodes have a peculiar composition and, depending on application conditions, are subdivided into the following types:

  • type  1:    coating of mixed metal oxides for soil and fresh water
  • type  2:    coating of mixed metal oxides for seawater
  • type  3:    metallized coating
  • type  4:    coating of mixed metal oxides for fresh water and seawater, modified

AG-PST may be used:

AG-PST are environmentally friendly, low soluble and do not contaminate aqueous and process media with dissolution products.

AG-PST may be used as:

  • surface anode groundings with vertical and horizontal position of electrodes;
  • deep-water anode groundings located in casing columns;
  • underwater anode groundings (for both: sea and fresh water).
